I usually play with a very large area on the non-steam version and having a lot of unexplored area is pretty important to keeping this fun going later stages of the game. Anyone else have this issue? Should I go back to non-steam or is this going to get ironed out over time? I realize I might be able to fix it by going to the smallest possible fortress size but. I've played before with Meph tileset and mods and always had good performance, at least with a fresh world. So now I am not playing at all and wondering if I should just refund. I tested a few resolutions, and I played for a bit, but it was really frustrating that I couldn't even look around smoothly and I definitely wasn't going to be able to just deal with it and enjoy the game.
